My favorite movie is Lion in Winter with Katherine Hepburn and Peter O'toole. It's an acting and theatrical slug fest. Keeps you on the end of your seat the whole time. Fantatic movie!

How exciting! Man these kids are getting older quick!

Brendan will love to hear this news. We just saw the dentist and they told him one of his bottom front teeth is starting to wiggle. He is looking forward to having a hole in his mouth.

You can always felt it again...it'll probably keep shrinking. I've had to do it 3 or 4 times before to get the desired thickness. They look great!

Contrats! on your first socks! My first sock was HUGE! I wear a 5½. My SIL wears a 9 and it fit her. I made my second sock to fit me. I kept trying it on & frogging when it didn't fit. I ended up making another sock to match the one that fit me and a HUGE sock to match the other one for my SIL! Both were so poorly knit they've since been trashed but I was HOOKED!

All the socks I've made with self striping yarn are fraternal twins. The only matching striped socks I have are the ones I striped myself!

I DO like the socks!
